Sitting on the Dock of the Thames... | Chloe Browne: London Wedding photographer

...watching the tide roll in.

The sun rarely shines in London, but when it does, it's glorious. I walked past this man a week ago whilst out with Rob and Laura taking portraits.

Southbank

I wonder who he was waiting for.

Great portrait. Love the combo of moccasins, socks and tweed hat. Brilliant.

Maybe he made a pact to meet with someone years ago but they never came so he is still waiting....

Love the hat and moccas though

I didn't have the guts to take his photo head-on. I think he knew that I was taking it from the side, but he was too nice to rumble me. I do love Italians.

I think he just loves to sit there. I love love this spot too, about mid-point between The Tate and Shakespeare's Globe. I was having lunch (sitting about 3 metres to the left from this actual spot) and noticed this beautiful old house. Gillian Tindall has written a book about this house. The address is 49 Bankside and the book is called 'The House by the Thames'. I love the history in this part of London because you can still see it!

How did you get the sky like that? The blue is unbelievable. Who knew you got so much sun in London?
